"The Blacksmith" Sound redesign demo reel

Over the past month, I have been developing a comprehensive sound redesign for the game "The Blacksmith" as part of a college sound design course. The project began with creating an audio identity for my brand, Hijinx Studio, by crafting custom sound to accompany an animated title/contact card. I then moved into redesigning audio for a cinematic sequence, recording foley and integrating carefully selected sound effects to enhance elements such as ambience, wind, footsteps, wooden creaks, magical textures, and distant creature calls. Following the cinematic, I reimagined the in-game soundscape with detailed environmental ambience, storm-driven wind and thunder, animal noises, and responsive item-pickup cues for objects like a tome, key, chest, potion, and sword. Across all stages, I applied professional production techniques—including time-based effects, dynamic processing, EQ, and reverb—to shape a polished and immersive auditory experience.
